Frigidaire 154580301 Dishwasher Drain Pump Assembly Replacement Part - Compatible with Frigidaire Dishwashers - Perfect for Leak Repair & Maintenance

I ordered this drain pump after I noticed lots of water sitting inside my 12 y/o Frigidaire dishwasher. I could not find my original pump part number online, but this one appeared to be compatible with my dishwasher. I ordered it and the pump arrived a day early. When I opened the box, the new pump looked similar but it did not have the same part number or power rating. My old pump was 25 watts / 0.6 amps. I did every imaginable search online and could not find anything about this new drain pump. After 1.5 hours of searching, I decided to email the vendor and hope they would (quickly) send an explanation. To their credit, they replied first thing the next morning and said the new pump was compatible with my dishwasher and that there had been a manufacturer substitution. Two days later, I swapped out the old pump and replaced it with the new one. After four full wash cycles, I have had no problems. My dishwasher drains fully and at the proper times and there have been no leaks.I would have given this review 5 stars except for the confusion with the part number. The pump came in a box, wrapped in bubble wrap and no paperwork whatsoever. If there had been one page mentioning the manufacturer swap, that would have made all the difference for me. Maybe they will start doing this with the next buyer.Able to change without pulling the unit.The dishwasher has been noisy since new. I called the appliance dealer who sold it to me when it was under warranty, and they described it as normal. Fast forward a few years and it just got louder and louder until it wouldnt remove the water in the bottom. Googling the problem, it looked like this was the part to replace, and it was. I had to slide the dishwasher out and tilt it up to replace this part. It took about 30 minutes to replace and put the dishwasher back in place. It now drains completely, and it is quieter than it ever was. Bonus points for this actually being a GENUINE FRIGIDAIRE PART, it came in a factory sealed box and all.Amazing product! Came with new o-rings and a new plug. It took longer taking the dishwasher out then the actual job! My dishwasher runs so quiet and leak free! It was definitely worth spending the extra 25 dollars to get an original part not an aftermarket unit for a few dollars less but probably wouldn’t last very long. Very happy!!!If your dishwasher won't drain & it's not clogged, its likely the drain pump.No need to pull the dishwasher out. Just take off the kickpanel, pull out the white connection wire to the pump & purple connection, take some pliers & release the locking clamp. Undo the hose clamp for the drain tube. Easy peasy. Took less then 5 min to swap out.This is an upgraded pump to the origanol Johnson 3125. That pump was a 25v. New upgraded pump is 35v so hopefully it won't burn out so fast. Last one only lasted about 200 wash cycles. Unacceptable. Hoping the more powerful motor lasts longer.1 day delivery & works perfect.Perfect replacement for our Frigidaire dishwasher. I pulled the unit out and laid it on it's back to do the repair, but it could have been done without removal. Very easy DIY repair. Ordered because our old pump started making a lot of noise. Opened the dishwasher to prep for repair and the old pump had died during the last load, so it was good that the new pump was in my hands. Timing was perfect. New pump is a lot quieter than the old pump was (even before major noise started). Perfect part!If your dishwasher isn't draining this is probably the reason. I took the old pump off to try cleaning it and inspecting and, and while it made noise it just wasn't moving water. I should have taken it further apart for a better analysis but I was just happy to have the dishwasher drain again.The whole process takes about an hour, assuming you include time to get the tools, drain the dishwasher cup by cup, and aren't familiar with the underside of the dishwasher. It's literally two electrical connections, one worm drive hose clamp, and two spring style hose clamps. I think I was the most frustrated with ONE of the spring style hose clamp that took 5 minutes because I perhaps wasn't using the right pliers.My dishwasher wouldn't drain. Received this part, watched a video on youtube and installed it ourselves saving what I'm sure was at least $150 if we had a repairman come out. The first part we received worked for one day - notified the seller who sent us out a replacement part. Dishwasher has been working ever since. You can probably install it without removing the machine from under the countertop.my husband loved it...it did what it was supposed to do..Installe comme le pièce origine reste à voir la durée de la pièce ..........Replaced the old broken pump with new one.
