Actually, in the industry, 3/8" measures well over 1/2", so I thought a mistake had been made when this unit was too large to fit my machine. Actually, my machine requires the 1/4" NPT unit, which measures closer to 1/2", so I was not able to use this unit, but it appears to be well made and should work just fine.
